We are going to this school because our moms have to work.
We come to Helios to speak English.
We can swim; play football, and many other sports.
We play computer games and digital board, we have played spin-off.
We rehearse a sing from day 1 to day 14 and a theatre play from day 16 to the last day.
We had a good time with Pedro.
The only bad thing is that I don´t like the food of this school.

My holiday to Marbella

I went to Marbella with my family and my cousins Carmen, Isabel and Rafa. When we arrived we unpacked and we went to the swimming pool, Then I had a shower. Then we went to have lunch and we ate really well. Then we had a siesta and then we had a good time at the beach.

My holiday to the U.S.A

I went to the U.S.A to visit my grandmother, Then we went to visit my father’s friends and they had two kids who were younger than me. For Kim’s birthday we went to a rotating restaurant. I don’t remember what we ate but it was very good. After that we wentt to Kim’s house and I played with his children.

Fiesta Despedida

Ayer jueves 28 de julio, a las seis de la tarde, se celebró el acto de Clausura del 18th English Summer Course.

En este acto se realizó una valoración del acto y se entregaron las medallas deportivas, los premios a los mejores alumnos y los diplomas del curso. Posteriormente familias, alumnos, profesores y monitores pudieron compartir unos momentos mientras disfrutaban de una horchata y fartons (que aunque no sea algo inglés, se agradece con esta temperatura).

Desde aquí, les agradecemos la asistencia a este acto y felicitamos, una vez más, a todo el alumnado por su actitud durante todo el mes.

I went to Praga last winter, I went with my sister and my parents, but I prefer travelling with my friends. Last summer I went to my village, and holidays there were amazing, I like going to “discomovil´´t here, because my village is in the country-side in Burgos, and I also sunbathe, I get a tan.
I love my village holidays.

Film review: Toy Story 3.

This is a cartoon film about Andy’s toys. Andy has grown up and he’s going to go to college so he has to organize what he wants to donate, throw away, put in the attic or take with him. He decides to put most of his toys in the attic, except for Woody, which he decides to take with him.
But by mistake they’re thrown away by Andy’s mother .
The toys escape from the bag and they decide to go to Sunnyside as a donation. They’re at the nursery school They’re put whith the toddlersand the toddlers treat them very badly. They want to escape but Lotso, the “badly”, doesn’t want them to escape.
They escape thanks to a toytelephone but they finish in a trashyard with Lotso but they’re saved by the 3 aliens and return home, Andy donates all of them to Bonnie who treats toys really well. Thesunnyside’s owner’s daughter,

The Big Ben

The Big Ben is a big tower in London. It is very important and beautiful. People call this tower Big Ben, but it is the name of the bell in the clock tower. The buildings next to Big Ben are called the Houses of Parliament. The old name of Big Ben was the clock tower. It is 96,3 metres high.

APPLE ICE-CREAM
INGREDIENTS FOR FOUR PEOPLE
5 BIG APPLES
50G SUGAR
THE JUICE OF ONE ORANGE
1 EGG WHITE

INSTRUCTIONS

1=PURÉE THE APPLES WITH A MIXER. ADD THE ORANGE JUICE AND THE SUGAR.
2=MIX THE ORANGE JUICE AND THE SUGAR WITH APPLES. POUR THE MIXTURE INTO A DISH.
3=AFTER 30 MINUTES, BEAT THE PURÉE WITH A FORK. PUT THE DISH BACK IN THE FREEZER FOR 30 MINUTES.
4=MIX IN THE BEATEN EGG WHITE AND PUT THE DISH IN THE FREEZER FOR 12 HOURS.

It is in London. It’s a residence of Britain’s Queens and Kings. It is 108 metres long across the front, 120 metres deep and 24 metres high. The palace has got 775 rooms. People can visit the palace throughout the year.

FRUIT MILK SHAKE.

INGREDIENTS:
1.Glass milk.
1.Lemon.
1.Pear.
1.Tablespoon of sugar.
1.Scoop of ice cream.
Honey.

1: Squeeze the lemon juice in the mixer.
2: Peel the pear and cut it into pieces.
Put them in the mixer. Add the milk and sugar.
3: Mix until frothy. Serve in a large glass.
4: If you add a scoop of chocolate ice cream, do not add the honey.

Grat Britain

The Big Ben is called so because it is the name of the bell. The British postal service is called The Royal Mail, the post boxes are red and very big , and the Spanish is called Correos , the post boxes are yellow and big.
The Tower of London was a prison, but now it is a museum.
In London, there is a big Ferris wheel. It is called the Eye of London because you can see the whole city.
Great Britain is formed by 3 countries: England, Scotland and Wales. Great Britain and Northern Ireland together are called the UK.
In Scotland, you can visit Glasgow. That is a big city.
In Wales you can see Berkeley Castle.
In Northern Ireland, there is Belfast Castle.

They have traditional boots.

Cowboys have hats that protect them from the sun. They wear bandanas to protect themselves from the dust.

They are born in spring. The puppies are called wolf cubs. Wolves live in packs of ten to twelve individuals. Wolves are bigger than dogs.

Living Forms Found on Mars
Tuesday, 19th July
Yesterday the astronauts from England found Martians on Mars. They are similar to a worm, but they are small, blue and inside transparent with black things. The astronauts found them underground. The astronauts and the scientists think they are the beginning of an indeterminate race. They think too, that the Martians will live with water or with an energy source.
We don´t know more, but we wanted to notify you of the good news.

The Statue of Liberty is a very famous monument. It is a present from France to celebrate the freedom of the United States. People go to the statue and take photos. Frédéric August Bartholdi designed the statue. The torch is made of copper. The statue is 46 metres tall.

EIFFEL TOWER: The Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel in French) is an iron structure designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel and his collaborators for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 in Paris.

THE ARC DE TRIOMPHE: The Arc de Triomphe is the most famous arch in the world. Napoleon Bonaparte decided to build this bow after his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz.

THE SACRED HEART BASILICA: The Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre is a famous building in Paris. It is located at the top of the Montmartre hill. It is a basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is one of the most visited monuments in Paris.

THE CATHEDRAL OF NOTRE-DAME: The Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Paris is one of the oldest French Gothic cathedrals. It is on the small Isla de la Cité in Paris, which is surrounded by the river Seine.
